WJOX in Birmingham just reported he was at the top of the coaching list at UAB along with Jimbo Fisher. I hate the rumor mill, but hate to hear Cut's name in it even more.

That's sort of what I'm thinking. Why go to UAB when he could stick around Knoxville for another year or two and end up with another big time job?

That and I just can't imagine Cut and his family relocating again only after a little over a year. That's a lot of work, especially for a job at UAB.

condidering they are suppose to interview the Hoover High coach!

I won't act like I know CDC or anything, but from everything he's stated publicly, the UAB job doesn't fit his criteria.

Take the Hoover coach Rush, and leave Cut along..

They can even see get his show off MTV to see what their getting....

According to the sports last night on a Bham news station (not sure which one) Rush is interested in the OC job at Bama.

SPEAKING OF HOOVER HIGH, THERE IS A TEAM 1 HOUR SOUTH OF MEMPHIS IN BATESVILLE, MISS KNOWN AS THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH PANOLA. THEY WILL BEAT THE BRAKES OFF HOOVER HIGH, IF YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT THEM PLEASE DO SOME RESEARCH. THERE ISN'T A TEAM IN EAST OR WEST TENNESSEE THAT CAN COMPETE WITH THEM.

Hang on......I lived in Olive Branch and have seen first hand the UofSP. But I live here on the edge of the Hoover School System. I will be very honest, it would be one HE!! of a game. Hoover is a great program, don't believe that crap on MTV. It is a program. There aren't many high schools that have full staffs of POSITION coaches like college programs. The rumors are that if UAB is actually interested in the coach it is going to set off a huge bidding war between UAB and Hoover High. I know that sounds crazy, but is true.
