Agree 100%...i do wish Cut the best though. However when he came back...the deal was, he has total control of the offense end of story. Sorry but he cost us some games when he got leads and sat on them...UF anyone?Cut does fine with somebody elses players. The knack on him was he can't recruit. He left Ole Miss void of talent and didn't relate well with the boosters. The jury is still out on Cut as a HC. As CPF would say lets look at the body of work........but as a QB coach and OC he is exceptional.
One hundred percent right. That is why he could never make it as UT Head coach. With the top Recruiting budget in the nation he would probably push most all of his responsibilities onto his staff.
For one thing, Peyton was the son of an NFL pro QB. He probably isn't the only one responsible for Peyton's success.
Second, Cutcliffe had some success at Ole Miss and Tennessee but hasn't won a championship since 98. He does know how to coach QB, no question of that.
