Offensive coordinator David Cutcliffe took plenty of blame afterwards, too.

"I put us in harm's way, obviously, in the second half when we needed a play," Cutcliffe said. "I don't think I put them in the right situations to be successful.

How many times have we heard that exact same thing this year? After every loss and even after a couple of wins.

It's as if he and Fulmer are like robots and have automated responses to things.

....and to think everyone wanted Cut to come back because he was the only one Fulmer would give control to.

i hate that i'm wasting posting here, but you need to be informed. Most were upset with the hire. Most knew we were just bringing the same old crap that wasn't working to begin with.

on a side note, i dare you to find one OC or HC in football that would blame the loss on his players and not himself. It's coachspeak. Spoken by TCHFCATUTK, stoops, carroll, miles, tressel, bowden, joepa and any other respectable coach you can think of.

I'd certainly like you to go back to last year when everyone was praising Cutcliffe and kissing his arse when our offense was "resurrected". I didn't see too much bashing.

"everyone" is a reach. most knew exactly what to expect with CDC coming back.

and when cut it down to brass tacks.........the offense on the whole has improved since he's been back. that really can't be argued against. philosophy, scheme, play selection, play calling, yeah, i think we all have varying opinions on those things.
