Not insider info. This source is WNCN in Durham, NC. I'm here every other month for visits to my cardiologist @ Duke University Hospital. From my room at the Hilton Garden Inn, watching the eleven o-clock news, their sports commentator provided a segment including an interview with David Cutcliff, in which he clearly stated he intended to finish his coaching career at Duke University. He added that he had absolutely no interest in coaching our Vols. According to WNCN, he was contacted earlier today by the UT athletic department (didn't name the UT official) inquiring about his interest in coaching at UT. Hey. If Li'l Lane wants to come back...let him. For those of you who're blaming the fan base for UT's being publicly ridiculed, you might want to regain your senses and realize that...right or wrong about taking back Schiano's offer (Uh...right!), Currie's the lone author of this horror story, and stability within the deeper echelons of the administration of our beloved institution is depending upon the removal of this one person, and then the immediate appointment of somebody who we know cares about UT (hint: CPF or Blackburn). In joining in with some other contributing UT alums, I'm not sending a dime to UT until this is fixed to the satisfaction of the heart and soul of UT football... VFL fans!:twocents:
