My son isn’t old enough to really understand the scores of some of his sporting events. And they don’t always have a scoreboard. He frequently tells me he won the game despite it being clear his team was destroyed.

I’m worried you may be his father now. Do you work for Mayfield or USPS by chance?

You’re moving the goalposts. That means you’re changing the criteria after it was already established. It’s a classic logical fallacy that people commit when they are proven wrong.

Just take the L. Just say, “I was wrong,” and it will be over. You don’t have to keep doubling down.

And when someone gets too drunk and the next morning they’re all sick and they say “ Man i’m never gonna drink again “ , are you the type to hold them to that too? Me saying they won’t win another game is just new school lingo way of saying they’re dog 💩. Do you realize how hard it would be to not win another game in the worst conference in the entire power 4? Have you seen their schedule? I already explained that to you though and it went right over your head so idk I guess you got that lol.
