Be a good rumor, but i don't see an AD out there that would pick Dabo if hes let go.

Guy is publicly against NIL and Portal and if you can't win with that roster, something isn't right.
I think Dabo is being forced to join the portal accepting crowd .May be too late for this year, but I bet next year ( if he's still there) he's portal surfing like the rest

Bad and number 4 in the country are two different questions.

Their losses are to LSU, Georgia Tech, Syracuse. Those are all good teams. The first two are very good teams.

Clemson still probably wins 7 or 8 games
Clemson won’t win another game this season

Arky already has their next coach in waiting on the staff. Bobby Petrino is assistant OC. This is according to an Ark booster friend. Take it for what its worth.

Clemson has been successful due to the demise of TN football beginning in about 2007/2008.

TN started going down and they picked up recruits that normally would've been TN commits. Tahj Boyd was the beginning. If Fulmer would've kept up with changes of CFB, Clemson never would have had the same success they've had.
And ironically Dabo has followed Fulmers footsteps to irrelevance. A once great coach that refused to evolve with the times.

Clemson was ranked #4 in the preseason. Goes to show how useless preseason rankings are.
AP preseason polls have an accuracy rate of 65% over the last 10 years. In other words, during that time period only 16 of the top 25 preseason teams actually stayed in the top 25 at the end of the season. Additionally, in the last 20 years only 2 teams ranked #1 in the preseason actually finished #1 (Alabama in 2017, USC in 2004). One reason is the voters seem to look no deeper than last year's win/loss record and brand name recognition to predict the future, if that. IMO there is so much money attached to preseason rankings for conferences, teams, and networks, that the system is designed for corruption (even if no direct evidence exists).

That Syracuse win that so many talking heads in the media kind of downplayed is looking better and better.

Meanwhile Clemson and its fans are about to drive off a coach who's won 78.4% of his games and brought them two national titles. That's pretty damn funny. If they really do chase Dabo out of town, they're gonna end up being a fifty car pileup of misery before it's over.
They better have a superstar lined up if they fire him. He's always been a good coach, but his downfall was not embracing the portal and NIL. He's also not alone in that boat.
