Saw Maggitt at Waffle House a few days ago with his girlfriend. Can safely say it has not affected his appetite. That young man can put away some breakfast.

I mean seriously! I wonder if the S&C coach has some exercises (at least, warm-ups) that can help with this. :thud:

I'm sure they are well aware of all injuries and are doing their absolute best to help prevent them. Athletes are responsible to recover properly. I've always wondered how many injuries are attributed to athletes getting inadequate amount of sleep, poor nutrition, not working on mobility, etc. It's not completely the strength coach staff's fault.

I had this same surgery about 2 years ago, and it took almost a year before soreness completely went away. Shoulder is definitely the worst to rehab.

Talked to a guy yesterday who played college football and short stint in NFL. Had knee surgery and surgery in both shoulders for two torn labrums. He's 40 and says the shoulders hurt him more now than the knee. These injuries will stay with these guys for life.

I'm an all star special man myself, but I see Maggitt more as a triple hash browns all the way kind of guy.

I understand every team deals with problems, but damn if we aren't cursed. We finally get to the year that looks to actually be a turn around. Now all the sudden we don't even know if we can have a scrimmage from decimating injuries. It's ridiculous.
