BS....damage control....and the answer is still hell no. As for Currie, I agree....resign or fire him. Never thought I'd call for a guy to be fired before he had the job for a single year, but Mr expensive/explosive hire is forever FOS and has lost all credibility and confidence with this fan.

in other words, since he knew him for years, and he was the #1 target, he was doing a 'good ole boy' hire. Fire him.

red herring, he doesn't excite me as a head coach. it has nothing to do with the Pedo State thing. he is just not a coach that is going to excite or unite our fanbase, and no opponent is worried about us hiring him.

Really???? Because this:
If you move beyond the PSU atrocity-

1. Schiano was reviled- and I mean absolutely REVILED- by every NFL player he coached.
2. He actively helped cover up a MRSA outbreak at Tampa.
3. He talked about a drug suspension of a player with the media in violation of the NFL collective bargaining agreement.
4. He rigged a team captaincy vote to get who he wanted in in spite of the players.
5. He lied and trashed a player in the media.
6. He coached his team to intentionally try to injure opposing players on kneel-down plays.

Anyone defending Schiano as a good hire is morally bankrupt at best.
See Attached.

Also, please don't shoot the messenger. I think this is extremely dumb.

How hilarious is this. Everyone who has ever worked with Schiano has said he is cruel, mean, stubborn, and insufferable, including members of the media. Suddenly we're the bad guys for not wanting that to be a part of our culture here? Then, this tone deaf moron basically admits no fault and says this? This statement oozes of him trying to blame us and throw the fans under the bus.

If you didn’t know what a dud this guy was already, this proves it. Zero, and I mean zero balls (sorry mods) to even face anyone to defend his decision. It’s the equivalent of being an internet tough guy. He didn’t even try and apologize for upsetting the entire fanbase, and most of the state I’m sure. Go back to Kansas loser.

"I'm smarter than you, you ruined my elite hire."

"Don't worry I've still got this, you morons."

This guy really is completely incompetent. Own your mistake you freaking piece of trash then say you're sorry and you'll clean up the mess.

So... A few paragraphs about how we are all wrong, Schiano is the best, and nothing about resigning for being a ****ing goob.

Great.

Currie is arrogant and empowered by the "mighty" House of Haslam.

Until the Haslam's are out of power, men like this will be making decisions for our beloved University.

I really don't know what Tennessee does.

He is eventually going to have to resign. He has to. There's no way he can run the department after this.

But, you can't fire him now and not have the new athletic director make the hire or be any kind of attractive to a coach not knowing what he's walking into. Who takes the job with an athletic director vacancy.

I wouldn't wish this on FSU.

Well, maybe FSU

That's all crap. Dude is hated everywhere by most of his players. He leaks injury info about his players. He is a overbearing blowhard. Nothing about this man says leader.

Glad he's not coming here.
