Stopped reading at "big fan of holly warlick" what a freaking joke our university has become, sad.

A real joke and disgrace to our program would be firing a coach during a radio interview. He said what he's supposed to say in public.

Holly needs to go and Currie needs to win championships. Won't happen with her coaching.

Ridiculous. What is he supposed to say in that situation? "Yeah Paul I'm putting Holly on notice right now.'. I mean come on! I get that some of you are disappointed in the hire but can we at least let the man unpack before we start building our personal rap sheets against him? The man just got here.

After reading that transcript, I can see why Finebaum concluded that Currie doesn't plan for Fulmer to be employed in the Athletic Dept. Fulmer may not want to be, anyway.

Haha.

Maybe the same thing he said about Butch?

Anyone who was part of Fulmer being fired and hiring Kiffin that started the downward spiral should not be brought back. Bad move in my opinion. Hopefully he does a good job.

I remember when the Fulmer fire happened.. I was not a fan of the move. But to act like that wasn't the popular move at the time was foolish... And when Kiffin was hired don't you remember him getting here? It was a home run hire like none other. He was fresh, young, and invigorating...

So to imply everyone involved in that should be blacklisted is foolish. Mistakes happen. They were had by a conman and at the time Tennessee football seemed to be on a downward spiral.

Everyone makes mistakes, but I won't hold him accountable for mistakes like that especially considering he wasn't the lead man Hamilton was, and until now I've never heard him catch blame.

It turned out to be a debacle, but you're right, at the time most everyone was ecstatic. Even had a "Kiffin man crush" thread. Lol.
