If he survives this I will regretfully delete this account and start all over as punishment. In that event I will update this post so everyone sees me eat crow. I fully believe the information I got and there are similar unconfirmed reports of it elsewhere.

Reports were that Fulmer was on board with the Shimano hiring. If Currie gets canned for the Shimano debacle, why sn't Fulmer in the same boat?

I created a thread 2 hours ago saying that my opinion was that both Fulmer and Peyton were complicit in the decision. Everything that is coming out now seems to say the opposite. We will see, and we may never know

You would have to go back several years to figure that out...or just ask Johnny.

Bottom line... Currie messed this thing up twenty ways to Sunday. He is responsible for the backlash taking place... he should have known this was coming, yet he plowed forward. He should be fired... not excuses accepted for this situation.

It's certainly possible given the huge backlash from the fanbase as well as even state politicians now getting involved. I don't think Currie was a marketing major.

And people laughed at me when I said we needed a sticky thread listing posters who's insider information never panned out or wasn't true to begin with.

He did it to himself. He wanted total control of the hire. No search firm. No communication will come out until I announce. Had his mind set on Mullen, then Chip goes to UCLA, then Mullen picks UF over UT. Currie panics and gets sloppy and everyone knows he is in Columbus. We all know how the rest of the afternoon went

At some point Currie has to come out and say something...right? Maybe some smoke coming out of a pipe somewhere near The Hill?

And they just announced Mullen to Florida....dang

Someone should start tracking the accuracy of it. Create a sticky and let people share or copy and paste any “sources” posts. It would help everyone weed out the good from the bad
