What is the Deal?

One Statement since the fiasco.

Blotched Coaching Search no Search Committee.

Zero Transparency

Failure to Fire Butch Jones programmed this Team for Failure. Had he done it after the GA Game probably better results.

Kept Jones around the program too long.

Where are the VFLs, no comments? no tweets? Seems Dead?

The AD is a dysfunctional.

Never came out and stated Gruden is off the table, we tried we bent over backwards. Let us now move on.

Lack of Transparency regarding the search created a Storm for this...

Failure to protect Tennessee Athletics from certain boosters influence.

Davenport's silence means no involvement or supervision of the search...

Currie was not held accountable.

Did Currie plant seeds within the AD to hide his true intent?

Where are the booster's and the VFL's.

Where is Blackburn and Fulmer in regards to all this...

We hired nothing but short term and long term failures at AD since Doug Dickey. You always knew who was in charge when he was there. Now you have to guess.

A lack of indecision on Currie's part with Jones and this search is where the program stands today...

Coachless, without direction, no leadership and no horizon is where we stand today.

Maybe we want see him again. Maybe he is not public because in the next couple of days he won't be the AD. Who knows? I think he definitely can't take the heat that has come his way guess his way is to hide.

No clue on the VFL's but I think a few have made comments. Currie is hiding for a reason, he knows he looks incompetent at this point. He didn't backtrack on Sunday's fiasco because of a few comments on Twitter. He backtracked due to the lack of communication with the powers that be and a feeling of incompetence within the AD.

I think he’s actually out interviewing and working as if nothing is wrong. Unless we here something soon, he’s going to bring us a bag of steaming hot poop in the form of mike bobo. I don’t think he’s worried at all about his job and doesn’t care one bit about what we think.

Well, the president answers to the BOT, who are appointed by the governor. Guess what his name is.

You saw just as well as I did how he behaved at the beginning of the search. His body language spoke volumes to me at the press conference. He either has a disdain for those people or ideas he deems "silly" or from the "little people" or he has some serious internal doubts about himself. Either way, he definitely seemed like he was feeling the pressure.

Unfortunately, this is probably true.

This thread is a great example of the uninformed morons who think they're running the show at UT. Currie made a great hire in Schiano and you guys @#$% all over it with your tirades and whining and moronic protests. I've been a VOL fan for decades and have never seen such a mess brought on by a so-called fan base. Tennessee will be lucky to hire anyone at all now. Currie's biggest mistake was listening to you whackos on Volnation. Do some actual research and you'll see that Schiano is a widely respected coach who even brought Rutgers into relevancy and has been hired by the best of the best, including Belichick, to strategize with their teams and coaches. Good job morons.

Go root for your boy Schiano and Ohio State then. We don't want you as a fan.

The lack of accountability is astounding. This is the most botched hire in the history of American tackle football and no one is accountable

Blah Blah Blah, lets get a real coach with some HC experience in stead of people that were voyeurs of Sandusky.

He hasn't been a head coach in 4 years and his last four years as a head coach have resulted in a whopping 24-33 record. Just because you believe something doesn't make it true

If Currie is not plain, old fashioned crooked, he might be one of those ego-maniacs who thinks every idea popping out of his head is the best thing ever, for everybody. We are just incapable of appreciating his greatness.
