After a full week of speculation and bad press, it seems things maybe quieting down a bit.

Hasen't seemed to have much effect on current verbally committed incoming freshmen.

Coaches come and go and the NCAA investigates, thats the nature of big time college football. This week has however, been more stressfull than others.

My question is, how is the current Big Orange Football Team and staff handeling the distractions coming from everywhere. Havent heard much in the media about the Chicken Bowl, Virginia Tech, game preparation or Ed and Monte. I would like to hear opinions on how you think the Vols can stay focused after such a volital week.

Knowing this is some guys last week to play I think they will be focused. The only thing that would make me think that we would be very distracted would be if everyone knew we were in big trouble, but I highly doubt that. We will be fine, and ready to give the Seniors a great last game.

After what happened the week before the Ole Miss game and Ole Miss handing us our azz on gameday, I dont think this staff will let this team play another game unfocused!!

They'll be fine, they have a few more weeks to prepare. If they come in unfocused, then something is wrong with this team

thankfully we will have a little time to get over all the fuss. when something happens it is a distraction...at any age or level.

This will all blow over soon---the vols will be focused on gameday. Look for a good beatdown of Va Tech--who is overrated.

That was my thought exactly. I went down to Ole Miss and am going to Atlanta. I thought about the similarities with the distractions and cannot imagine the coaches letting that happen again. I am really glad it broke now instead of game week. I think by the end of the month this will be old news and we can focus on VT.

I think different type of distractions;

1st the team was in school, and if I would bet the players was ask every second about the players in question or what I would call "Players Problem".

2nd Most of the students have been away, not as much as before, and Im sure they know CLK is driving the car. this is what I would call "CLK problem" and Im sure they trust CLK as we should.

Why does your title say that they are distracted, then ask if they are? Anyway, I just saw an awesome hit layed by Montana against App State. It was quite nice.
