its not much difference than the state of the football team a few years back, the right hire hopefully can fix it all. jmo

I personally have a really good feeling about this. I think Hart and the Admin has somewhat embarrassed themselves with the Tyndall hire and with the current competition being developed by the rest of the SEC they can't risk having another bad hire. I think we actually fork over the cash to get someone worthwhile and end up upgrading from Tyndall. I obviously would have preferred Tyndall having a long and successful career here but being able to cut ties as cleanly as we are with the upswing in the football program I think will yield positive results.

The program is a sleeping giant, nothing has changed. We have fantastic facilities, impressive fan support, we're in a power conference, fertile region for recruiting, etc. We've got everything necessary to win big. Absolutely no reason the program should be in the state it's in. We continue to throw away easy money by hiring cheap so consistently, it's mind blowing.

I could get better if those 2 mutts Cheek and Hart would PAY a top name coach

We got the chance to show we will spent top money on a coach, looks like bama is willing to throw around 3 to 4 million a year, but we will go get that upcoming mid major coach and hope we find another Pearl.:eek:hmy:

I don't care what has happened in our program over the last few years. This is not a bad place to coach. Everything is here for a coach to win big. We have top notch facilities, fan support, good recruiting ground. A good coach will see all of that and won't be afraid of a little challenge.

I pray Hart has embarrassed himself and is ashamed of his actions. Maybe that will be enough to get him to shell out decent money for a good coach.

The obvious joke for today is: We need long-term program stability--and we need it immediately!

Oh well, back to square... well, whichever square comes before square one. :vava:

Do the players really care that much? I know there's relationships there but in college you're saying goodbye to people every semester.

I think Hart will go after a black coach to change the perception of us running Martin out

He just needs to get the best coach possible. Black, white, purple , it doesn't matter. hiring a coach for the reason you stated would end in another coaching search in a couple of years.
