I can guarentee (yes BTO) that Reese will get more PT than McGhee or Carmichael will individually. I could see Carmichael getting better as the year goes on.

I'm not sure McGhee will play much, if any, during the meat of our schedule. 11 guys aren't going to play, so someone will sit. Baulkman and McGhee seem the most likely IMO. As always, we could be surprised. My guess is that the staff would prefer to redshirt one of Owens, Carmichael, or McGhee given that they all play virtually the same spot and are in the same class. Physically, Owens probably needs it the most, but in terms of skill and ability to contribute immediately, McGhee is probably the furthest behind IMO.

Probable on McGhee. Possible on Owens. One thing to keep in mind is that Reese wasn't recruited by Tyndall, so he will have to prove himself as much as the rest. For his sake I hope his defense and inside game have improved. Those are his quickest outlets to playing time.

He's too big for Tyndall's style! You can't have a lumbering center slowing the team down and having to get out of the way of the drivers. He WILL not be quick enough if he ever gets in shape to start with. You Shaq guys will have to get over it! He ain't no Shaq! I hate to prove you wrong once again but wait and see!

Woodson is actually quite nimble and athletic for a guy his size.

McGhee yes, but I would be willing to bet whatever you want that Carmichael averages more minutes per game than Reese...whadya say?

This staff pushed for a point guard just were never able to find one. I think they really thought they would get the one from Southern Miss and after he decided to stay they tried for others never happened. We do have Chiles who would be satisfactory if he is 100 percent. If not guess we see point guard by committee. I think Punter might be able to handle it along with Baulkman. We have a lot of guards surely someone can do the job there.

I really think Coach T will solve this problem. It will be interesting to see what he comes up with. The basketball team definitely needs a quarterback. It may go to the last minute with competition akin to the football team.
