This. By the way, Sparty is that you in your avi? If so, where do you like to ski?

Yes, that was last week in steamboat. Took the whole family. Broke now, but one of the best times of my life. My lie eye eye eye eye eye eye ife. That was the day the dads went out in the morning and the top had 10 inches of fresh powder overnight while we were skiing. Came down, had a couple of beers, live music, then back up with my kids.
Hot tub. Dinner. Games. Sleep. Repeat.

Who cares? Game film is readily available. Its going to come down to whether Michigan can hit contested jump shots.

If you watch enough film you wont need the a scouting report, film doesn't lie or have any bias. Unless you are asking a team that plays similar as you it wouldn't matter, but I think we are fine with what we have been doing in the past, time to execute.

He should talk to Michigan state and they talk to us about Virginia.

Mike Griffith said this on Basilio's show yesterday. Said that Michigan State would love to swap scouting reports with the Vols on Michigan - Virginia.

I'd much rather have Izzo's take than Matt Painter's.

I'm not going to question the staff's decision. They've done a pretty good job scouting our first three opponents and I've done enough second guessing for this season.

I don't even care if other coaches do it. I kinda like that our coach has his own specific standards that he holds himself to. That sounds like a leader of men.

First, it is standard for coaches to refuse requests to analyze a conference opponent for an outside coach, out of respect for the conference, or is Martin an outlier here? If coaches do analyze conference opponents, then Martin is being silly.

Second, that said: You can analyze an opponent pretty thoroughly by viewing game videos--it's all there.

Yes, but what you don't have is the verbiage or the rhyme and reason (rules and scheme) as to why they do certain things or why certain things were successful...

I remember when we played them in our former coach's last year. They telecasters stated how the former coach asked to meet with Beilein's (sp?) staff in the previous offeseason to learn about Michigan's defensive scheme. Michigan's coach flat out said no, but he would send all the tape the former coach desired and allow our former coach to "try to figure it out, just like everyone else." In other words, conversations are just as valuable as looking at the tape.
