Zo isn't the guy. That's obvious by now to me. The next guy may not be either, but why not at least take a chance in finding the right guy when you know the program is nowhere near where it's capable of being? Pearl proved what UT basketball is capable of. Zo has proven he's in over his head.

We found the right guy with Butch and Serrano. Either we luck up and get a good coach or end up with another mediocre coach like Zo and we're looking again in a few years. I'd take my chances even if we win a couple games in tourney. We should be expecting to be in the sweet 16 with this team anyways.

Sounds like he either got hired to go another school or got fired.... or am I reading into this wrong?

Do you think Cuonzo is looking for his next job? It's not like he has a sweet gig here money/contract wise whereas Dooley was fighting for his job for the money or buyout. I think he knows he isn't well liked by fans and students or else he doesn't make that comment.

Don't forget about Richardson . If Stokes comes back ,and I think its likely he does, we will be a better than a lot of people around here realize. Stokes will beast , and a healthy Hubbs will ball out along with Richardson . We will be pretty good

Our fanbase is pathetic. It's truly sad. Why any coach would want to coach here is beyond me.

I doubt anything has happened, but he knows it could based on the public outcry.

That sounds like he's been fired or expects to be but I can't understand why he'd think he's gonna get axed. I dunno maybe he's disappointed with the tourney draw but his comments don't sound right for a coach thinking all is well at his current job.

Shut up Wes Rucker. Our fan base is so bad that all football recruits, players and coaches say its one of our biggest recruiting tools and how are fan base is one of if not most passionate fan base in nation.

Passionate doesn't always mean logical. But that doesn't mean I love Martin. Our fans are a little different when it comes to basketball.

I will admit that the only reason we are talking about Cunzo is because of Pearl..

I wish Pearl was still our coach, but he is the one that put us in this position to start with...

Hey since Purdue has been struggling the past few yrs. and if they send Matt Painter walking. Could they (Purdue,his alma mater) come seeking CCM if he has more success in the NCAA. It could be a win win. More success we keep CCM, or he chooses Purdue. We get hire who we all want. Don't blame him either. Just pondering
