Calipari is better now because he can draw to players at KY. Maybe pulling Stokes will attract more talent here.

Our defense was great today and has been the last few. You're right once we get some more talent in here we're going to be a force.

I don't know how good Counzo will be. I like a lot of what I'm starting to see. I don't think Cal is one of the best IMO. Recruits a lot of talent and usually underachieves.

A mannequin could draw better players to kentucky. All you have to do is have UK basketball coach on your business card and you get into the homes of the best high school basketball players in the nation.

We are 1-2 in the SEC, beating the No. 13 team at TBA by 11, losing to the No. 20 team by four on the road with a chance to win late, and losing by three to the No. 2 team in the nation, our top rival in basketball. This team has shown improvement over the past 2-3 weeks. As Stokes gets more and more playing time and becomes a part of the regular rotation, we should continue to improve. We may pull off a few more victories than most of us anticipated when the season started. Before the SEC season began, I figured we were destined for a 6-10 SEC record. We may still have that, but I am not so sure now. I think 9-7 would be an outstanding SEC record for this team.

Yeah, Tubby and Billy Gillispie were great at getting talent.

Cal is a lesser coach than who??

The home loss to 1-9 Austin Peay, the blowout loss to a very mediocre Memphis team, and the losses to College of Charleston and Oakland have really shown what a superior coach Cuonzo Martin is to John Calipari.

Calipari is not a great X's and O'x coach, amazing recruiter though.

He was however, smart enough to use Davis more in the pick and roll game in the 2nd half.

If it was all about recruiting and not X's and O's Memphis wouldnt be so horrid every year.

I can only hope the OP meant just for this game. For this game I would say that CCM out coached Cal to put a team at that much of a talent disadvantage in position to win, especially after a <48 hour turnaround from playing MSU on the road.

It's funny how coach Cal's teams keep getting busted for cheating yet they never charge or penelize Cal. Do you think KY fans will be upset when they get busted for cheating and Cal waves goodbye on his way to his next scam?

Living in Lexington...most of the fans don't care what happens 5 years from now if they win a national title now. That's the honest truth.
