Just got done witha 5 day fast. Longest I have done..... I been doing intermintent fasting off and on awhile now..usually warrior diet when I do it (18 hours nothing then eat in the space of 6) I have to say day 4 you have a feeling of euphoria and clear mindedness that makes me think I need to do this first week of every month. I didn't think I could do it but actually once you get past 48 hours it's not that bad. Just stay hydrated, get plenty of electrolytes, and enjoy eating your own fat. But today after 5 full days, I broke fast with broth, and then several hours later during game had a meal of groundbeef. Plain ground beef with a lil mustard and mayo (burger flavor without the extras) has never tasted so good in my life. I highly recommend and the effect on mind alone makes this a really good experience. I had gained some weight back recently but in 5 days dropped it all and more so. It was like a hard reset. Lifted weights during fast some, nothing heavy but just keep my autophagy honest and not start on muscle. Some fasting veterans more experienced then I suggest you do this. Maybe this will be the year I finally drop the unwated weight.
