That’s some spensive fishes.
Thats why I axed him about it. I eat it, Mercury and all, regularly. That is top grade yellow fin (Ahi) pictured above.

The grade below that is still sashimi grade yellow fin that you cant tell the difference unless you have them side by side.

The price is substantially better. Only complaint is you can only find it in 4oz. or smaller portions. Publix, Walmart, Sam's, Costco, Aldi etc. all sell it under different brand names.

Edit to clarify: I don't eat the spensive one regularly.

Good to know the Morristown pal’s meets the other pals standards
Did you know they put one there at JB Dennis, same turnoff as McD's that's in that gas station (on the Meadowview end)?

Pal's would be a viable franchise in pretty much any market. Did you like Shirley's (not the one in Hampton), but the one down on Main Street before you get to the paper factory? Their "schtick" was caviar on burgers, IIRC.

I did know about the JB Dennis one. I don’t think I’ve ever been to this Shirley’s you speak of. And now I’m sad knowing I can never go to the real Shirley’s again

That Shirley's went OOB. It was also owned by Pal.

But yeah, the real Shirley's in Hampton was one of my favorites.
I was told the crabby cafe that went in where Shirley’s of Hampton was is pretty good. I’ve spent over a decade total living in the Chesapeake Bay Area and I’m definitely a crab snob so I have my doubts
