Back when I asked you guys if you thought Charlie Kirk was racist I had just texted a friend of mine, black guy, and asked him if he knew who Charlie Kirk was. He said "he that racist dude that argues with college kids on youtube".

He didn't know anything about him except what he had heard from someone else. That probably didn't know anything but what she had heard.

My dad didn't know anything about him until I texted him right after he had been shot.

My brother said he had never heard of him until I sent him the tweet.

The only reason I knew who he was, is because I saw him on a tv show talking about how corporations should not be allowed to own single family homes and rent them back to people at a much higher rate than the mortgage payment.

If I see a Black pilot, I'm going to be like, 'Boy, I hope he's qualified.'

The context being that DEI and affirmative action also degrades people who deserve to be where they are.

I knew very little about him but since he was shot I’ve been researching all these lies people keep repeating. It turns out that if the quotes are not fake they are taken out of context to make it sound like he said something else.

For example, the one I heard most is “black people were better off as slaves” when what he said was the black family unit was better off before government got involved in their lives through entitlement programs and broke the family unit within the black community.

I liked Charlie, agreed with that he said and how he believed.

I didn't think he was the "Rock Star" some make him out to be.

I like him more now knowing who hated him and why they hate him and flat out lies about. AND have never spent any reasonable time researching what they repeat hearing from wherever they hear it.

I ain't mad at all, mostly dumbfounded, But F them and everything they stand for.

If I watched a video of their lives and cut out a 2 minute clip and edited it down to a 30 second tiktok, I guarantee I could make them out to be anything I wanted.

The fact that so many, even a couple in the PF, dont see that is wild. For lack of a better word or words that have already been beat to death.

It's mind boggling how mamy people believe whatever they see on a TikTok, if it lines up with their feelings. Truth be danged, if Suzy superstar on TikTok says it, she has 2 million followers, it's the gospel. That's not just about this, it's both sides of politics, religion, etc.

We dont talk politics in the Endzone, thats why you won't get many if any responses besides mine. The Endzone is kind of like a family holiday gathering where you don't bring up serious discussions that might cause a fight, like politics and religion.
