There used to be a place called Jack’s Rib Shack next to the pool hall at Summer and White Station that made very tasty brisket and you didn’t need a knife to cut it.
There are 3 Haywood Smokehouses in WNC, apparently not related to Joe’s, with dropdead brisket. I had a Texas Melt brisket sammich and a side of baked beans with brisket burnt ends, and I’m hooked for life.
