About the socks black socks make my feet Sweat and I needed some black socks so I got the Nike Dri-fit's and just amazing no sweat. Next I am going to try and find some dri fit underwear. The Nike grey Tennessee Vols shorts I got has a back pocket for a wallet that I thought was nice to have along with front pockets. I want a jersey next a authentic one would like a football and baseball one and of course they are Nike.

The Balega socks Bill turned me onto are the only socks I wear anymore, except to church.

But, but… are your black socks not enclosed in your shoes, and therefore shaded from sunlight? Black absorbs heat energy from the sun and other light sources. I’m pretty sure that it doesn’t pull heat preferentially (compared to other colors) from your body or other objects it touches. Gosh, if it did, it seems like it would have a cooling effect, as long as it wasn’t in the sun…

But anything is possible, I guess. My physics class (ugh 😖) is many years in my past.

I can wear black socks for a day at work and that night my feet stink like I kicked a skunk. I can wear white socks for a couple of days and no odor at all. Must be a scientific anomaly.

And they’re made from the same yarn? 100% cotton or whatever. Are your feet hotter in the black socks? Maybe it’s the dye.

It seems to be even more complicated being a guy than I had thought.
