The Balega socks Bill turned me onto are the only socks I wear anymore, except to church.About the socks black socks make my feet Sweat and I needed some black socks so I got the Nike Dri-fit's and just amazing no sweat. Next I am going to try and find some dri fit underwear. The Nike grey Tennessee Vols shorts I got has a back pocket for a wallet that I thought was nice to have along with front pockets. I want a jersey next a authentic one would like a football and baseball one and of course they are Nike.
Black socks make your feet sweat? Not white, not grey, not red and green polka dot, just black.About the socks black socks make my feet Sweat and I needed some black socks so I got the Nike Dri-fit's and just amazing no sweat. But, but… are your black socks not enclosed in your shoes, and therefore shaded from sunlight? Black absorbs heat energy from the sun and other light sources. I’m pretty sure that it doesn’t pull heat preferentially (compared to other colors) from your body or other objects it touches. Gosh, if it did, it seems like it would have a cooling effect, as long as it wasn’t in the sun…Black socks absorb a lot of warmth and this causing your feet to sweat and even stink. That's why I like the dry fit because it absorbs moisture.
And they’re made from the same yarn? 100% cotton or whatever. Are your feet hotter in the black socks? Maybe it’s the dye.I can wear black socks for a day at work and that night my feet stink like I kicked a skunk. I can wear white socks for a couple of days and no odor at all. Must be a scientific anomaly.
