Asics makes the best running/walking shoes hands down. Japanese technology. The foam & gel used in the soles is the best out there. Asics cheapest shoe is quality. Those so called "specialty" and "custom" manufactures are doing their job sucking buyers in thur marketing. You "think" you're gettin something better because they tell you are. What I've found about the buyers of the custom shoes is they bitch the most & quit the fastest. All my issues are on my left side from past incidents - cutoff top big toe - broke ankle - broke lower leg & a meniscus tear. I can take any pair of off the rack Asics, strap em on & do what I need to do with no issues. I'm down to 800 miles a year now from 1000 & never had a single problem with my shoes or from them.

Hey man, if you have'ta wear ya mommas army boots......get out there. We're on the clock
Those in the pic are hideous.

I see a pattern. You told us we don’t clean our skillets with soap because Memaw didn't. Now you're telling we think we're getting Quality because "they" tell us we are. Do you think none of us are capable of getting through life without you're guidance?

Shoes pictured will "go with anything". You misread the "quality" part. I was saying the specialty shoe makers try to convince you thur marketing their shoe is right for any problem someone might have. Feet are our foundation, they support us. Our feet strike the pavement when running. Cushion in striking the pavement is what's needed. If I convinced myself with the issues on my left side, I should running in specialty shoes. I'm not doing it when what I use works perfectly. I've been around exercising a long time & the biggest excuse people make for not doing anything, is just that.....an excuse. People talk themselves out of exercising with excuses.
I was just giving my review/opinion on shoes because I've had some experience with them. Just like you would on food or things in the kitchen.
100% all ya'll can get thur life just fine without my guidence, I'm just trying to help yer dumbasses!!
We're good

They have an ASICS factory store at Opry Mills in Nashville. I like ASICS but I will only buy shoes that I can try on and walk around in at the store. I can handle ordering stuff online and dealing with returns for bad fit or a quality issue myself but I prefer to go to a brick and mortar store so I can leave with something that fits, feels right, and isn't messed up somehow. I wear 4E width in New Balance and they're generally the only people who stock extra wide running shoes. I guess the other shops don't want the wide feeted people's business.

this is absolute horse crap. ASICS does make quality shoes. But there are several other brands in the same boat. And the different styles and support levels of each different model of ASICS affect anyone’s feet differently. Just like the other top brands.

There are brooks that I like, brooks that I hate. Ons that I love, Ons that I can’t wear. Same with Altra, Mizuno, Topo Athletic, and Saucony. Only pair of ASICS that work for me are the Kayanos, and they are magnificent. The rest don’t conform to my feet and gait. I love Ons. After my recent injuries, I’ve tried Ons, Saucony, ASICS, Topo Athletic, and Altras. I wear Topo Athletic for the gym and sprints, Ons for long distance running. The best running/walking shoe is the shoe the feels the best to the individual wearer. And each model from each different brand is quite different from each of that same brand’s other model.
