Probably next on my list. Above Subway.

The thing is, I don’t eat subs often and if I do it's gonna be one of those 3, usually Publix because they're good, priced right and most of all convenient. I'd hafta Google Firehouse to find one.

Honestly this post was because I saw Mikey in another thread say Subway was disgusting. I dusagree.

Solid list. Love Publix deli. Harris Teeter is similar and I would put them up there with Publix. I wouldn't put my local Jimmy John's on it though. You better tell them almost no mayonnaise, or that's all you'll taste.

I don't have that problem. I order a Mayo sammich with ham and cheese.

Jimmy John’s is totally hit or miss. The one I’ve been to back home was good, the ones in Virginia Beach/Norfolk were second only to Jersey Mike’s, but the ones I had in DC, and the one here in Mayberry are absolutely awful, even the meats are worse than Subway.

I’ll eat Subway, but usually the times I want to go buy a sub from a major chain, it’s Jersey Mike’s or I’m choosing something else entirely.

I've only been to one Jimmy John's and only a couple or three times. Girl I used to date liked their soups. Never had a problem.

Sub shops are like McDonald's with me. I like them but I don't go often and prolly ain't been to either but once or twice in the last 3 years. Give or take.

Jimmy John's is overrated IMO. I prefer Lennys

They have gone downhill because of the labor shortage 3 have closed down in my area the bread choices are down to 2 at the 1 that is still open. Putting an unpopular soccer player in the ads isn't going to help business or draw workers Probably going to end up like Blimpies soon

Am not familiar. Been maybe 4 times in 23 years and probably 8 years since my last visit, so actually, my opinion doesn't even matter. Forget that I mentioned them.

All sub shops are exactly as Y’all say.

Publix can make a good sub. My favorite from them was the philly sub that they would cook on the griddle. Then they quit offering the griddle service and that’s the only thing I want from them so they can keep their subs for now.

I did try a Penn Station not long ago. I got a cheesesteak with their fresh cut fries. It tasted good but I thought I was gonna heave afterwards. I prolly just wasn’t ready for all that grease.
