Heard a song on the radio yesterday afternoon that I haven't heard in I don't know how long, could be as many as 20-30? Can't get the lyrics out of my head. With that said, I know most if not all of you know it, Now I hope you join me in walking around the next 24 hours singing these lyrics to yourself

@Behr , serious inquiry. How does lamb taste? Or anybody i guess. We've never had it, and ingles carries it. I've been thinking about getting some.

It has more of a meat flavor than beef and is a little gamey. If its cooked right its more tender than beef.

I don't care for it, but I still eat a nice lamb chop every once in while just because.

And I ain't gonna lie, I wouldn't turn it down for this reason, but I hate the mental picture of where it comes from. Lol. Lamb is called lamb if its 1 year old, hogget is between 1 and 3 and 3 and over is mutton. Mutton is just the name of the meat and Ive honestly never tried it.

If you've never had lamb, I would definitely recommend trying it. Unfortunately for you, it needs to be cooked at medium rare or lower even more than beef. Get you a nice chop and a small jar of mint jelly and experience it.

I can't do meats that are very gamey. **Kewl starry bra alert** I won an award at work a couple years ago and was invited to a fancy reception in Franklin where they served lamb. It ruined the entire meal for me.
