I remember that day well. I remember the radio I was listening to in our house when I heard the news.

I seen the breaking news report on TV. I actually wrote the time on the door jamb. Iirc, 3:45 ET when the report came in. Only 47 yo.

Went to see the funeral procession.

Used to pass by Graceland all the time, went to church down the street from there when I was a kid.

I remember being in the car with my mom and little brother going to see Star Wars and my mom had to.pull over on the side of the interstate and cry. I'll never forget it.

Edit: I remember we were going to a movie and I wanna say it was Star Wars, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Also, his stepmother went to our church, though not regularly.
