Not severe. I won't go into anaphylactic shock after one bite, but I'll have some pretty nasty stomach cramps and some minor swelling/itchiness in my throat. I do have to keep an EpiPen around just in case I do have a bad reaction.

My grandson is a carnivorous vegan. He is EpiPen-level allergic to dairy and eggs but can happily eat meat, fish, and poultry.

Yep. We just found out the hard way that Tostitos Hint of Lime chips have some small amount of dairy in them. Luckily DD (his mom) is a doc, so they just watched while holding the EpiPen ready.

He had Fritos in his plastic Easter eggs.

I love me some blackberries. Blackberry jam with seeds on a warm buttered biscuit would be just about perfect right now. I'd even have a cold glass of Almond milk with it.
