Teaching kids to cook is an excellent way to spend time with them, and the lessons that can be taught are infinite.
She didn't like it at first when I started bringing her into the kitchen to learn some things. Just didn't have the attention span for it a couple years ago, but now she is starting to love it and is getting pretty good.

My ex had an 8 year old girl. We spent alot of time in the kitchen. Learning math was fun for her, she learned how to handle knives properly, how to season and clean black iron skillets without soap, how to cover and properly store foods, how to clean as you go... etc. and she actually learned how to cook too.

I learned alot too.

the u-verse TV service is unbehrable. TV comes in for 1-2 minutes, TV freezes, and we're told that the signal has been lost. then you change channels, and you getr a picture. . One minute later, picture freezs and TV tells you to reboot. Things seem fine, TV freezes, so you pull the plug.. Five minutes later, reinsert plug,. reboot and the circle of frustration continues.

internet stayng up, but it wont take me long to screw up another thread.
