Cubelic on the O-Line

Good read, thanks. Any word on Big Charles progression on the line? I don't think I've seen him mentioned this summer.

I think our OL is going to be nasty this year and JR could be a great one.

Having said that, I dont think he will be better than Cam Robinson. That dude is something special and most certainly a first round top 5-10 draft pick if nothing bad hapoens to him.

I did think he undersold Coleman Thomas a little. He's really athletic.

Robertson is a beast. If he stays healthy and has a good year, lookout. The $$$ would be hard to turn down...

Awesome hearing the intricacies...really points out just how important the "team" is, as opposed to the players...can't wait.

Hell yeah he did. Vereen was the best DL we had on the team during the 2nd half of last season imo. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up with more sacks this year than Barnett tbh.

I'm not normally a fan of too much youth on the field, especially at line. But this is what happens when Butch gets his three stars in early. I absolutely love the combination of Chance Hall and Jack Jones. They are disruptive.

Agree.... It is great that we concentrate and buzz about Kongbo, Barnett, K-mak..... but it's the guys and depth like Vereen, Vickers, Mixon, Phillips, and Picou that is gonna be the difference maker... no longer will we see a huge talent drop off from first string to second string....gonna be fun to watch

Who all agrees Robertson can be the best guard in the conference?

I want to. But honestly, I don't know even a name of the other 27 starting SEC guards, except Weisman. For some reason, I only remember the center at UGA.

EDIT: Actually enjoyed the candid analysis in the article. Interesting to hear an expert talk about each player without trying to be PC.

I thought Cam Robinson plays OT. Not sure there are any OGs that could be as good as JR. Maybe I'm wrong.

Kamara, Hurd and AirDobbs are only as good as the five men protecting them.

Good luck OLine- we appreciate your dog days in the trenches.

Was Robinson all that great last yr? I saw Garrett of AM beat him a couple times for sacks and Vereen had his best game vs Robinson with 3 sacks. And in NC game, Clemson dominated both sides of the line.
