Very happy about this. People may not think its a big splash and may question the fact that he hasn't held the dc title, but he has been successful everywhere at every coaching position, and he is by all accounts a tremendous recruiter. It may not be a "sexy" hire, but it is probably the right and best hire.

Sal just coached LB's for a nc squad. Probably best not to mess with that.

So is Buddy Green in the talks at all for a positions coach? I think I saw that he was only making 200kish range. With the health issues he has had I would think it would be a great deal to come back down to an area he has been before, take on a less stress job, and make a little more money. Just wondering cause I think the fundamentals and discipline Green could bring would be well worth it IMO.
