CSS hates the Vols too

Well, since until this last year Monday night was Vol night I would say CSS doesn't hate us.

Every Monday night they replayed that weeks game, plus had the Fulmer show on before it, and at the end of the game they would show past Vol greats/teams. In the summer Mondays would hilight a good Vol win because, well it was Vols night.

Then Turner Sports bought the rebroadcast rights and now I guess they still have Georgia night GT night Alabama night etc. My guess is that they aren't gonna show very many Vol wins on Georgia night, Bama night etc.

The contracts were just restructured.

Now ESPN, yes they hate the Vols and make every attempt to show us in as poor a light as possible (football wise).

I know the commercial for NCAA Football '09 has us getting runover by Tebow, Alabama and I think Georgia.

I hope this statement is meant to be as tongue in cheek as this thread is.... :p

but I have a question. Does FSN replay any of our games from years gone by like CSS did?

Are they showing us the same love that CSS has these past several years?

I don't think so. :dunno:

Comcast hates Tennessee too (which i guess is part of CSS) because they have just about every other SEC team's spring game ON Demand except for Tennessee's

I was bitching about that three days ago to one of my buddies.....I wonder if Comcast just does not have the rights to play it? Florida is not on there either?

I watched the ALabama Spring game and JPW looks like he did last year running around scared to death.....He cant stay in the pocket for ****!

That's because Florida got a similar deal w/ Sun Sports.

They always show games we lose on the reruns. Right now they're showing the loss to the Cocks from '05.

I've noticed that to.

Maybe it's just upsets and really close games they like to show......we haven't had many upsets of anybody besides UGA in 2007 lately.

i've definitely noticed they mostly show games we lost.

one of the best games i can remember in recent history, that i have never seen played on CSS, was my senior year, when we played florida at home, and after scoring with only a couple minutes left in the game, james wilhoit missed the PAT to tie the game. he then TOTALLY REDEEMED himself by nailing a 50 yarder with time expiring. the greatest game i ever went to. talk about a swing of emotions.

Yeah, I've noticed that they always seem to show games where we lose.

Couldn't have anything to do with the fact we have lost most of the big games over the last 5 or 6 years I don't guess. The networks have this strange idea that national audiences are only interested in the big games, not Vandy, KY, UAB, Wyoming, NIU, et al.
