Cryptic Rumor From Poster

Really this is what we have known the whole time. Dooley was gonna get a few years, almost regardless, to provide stability and restock. Meanwhile hoping he is the real deal and lucking into a "Saban jr." or something. Then if he is not, we have a stable roster and hire a big name. The only way he would be fired before this would be if he couldn't recruit and restock. Last year it looked like we were improving. This year, with lots of injuries and horrible schedule, we seem to have regressed some. So the jury is still out IMO, but the recruiting is crucial!

What I get from that...
OLine coach will be replaced
RB coach will be implemented
And Mike Leach is interested in the job, he won in the "Big" 12, but could not lobby for the job last time due to litigation with ESPN and TT

Can I get a warm, hot, or cold??

I wouldnt mind having Leach as our OC but where did you hear/read that he is interested?

He said the coach knows how to run a major program and has won big. That unquestionably rules out Mike Leach.

This "BIG FISH" couldn't take the job this year if he wanted to because of circumstances, but this is a guy who knows how to run a major program and has won BIG (hint)!

Let me see.

Well, do we need to BADGER you about it a little longer?

Wow, I just started skimming this thread and one big name never came up who would fit the OP criteria of having won big, can't do it this year but would make sense (a little bit anyway).

With two subpar years in a row...anyone, anyone, Bueller, Bueller.

Starts with a m, ends with an n

Not saying I like it, just think its who the OP is talking about.

Mike Tomlin

From what I hear it is Jim Tressel. Just can't do it now because of the heat of the investigation.

CashVol on TOS:

At LP Field tailgating right now with a guy really involved with the program.
Tells me that DD realizes that this staff needs to be tweaked and that 2 changes are probably imminent.
Can't post what those are, but if you made four guesses, you would most likely get the two possible alterations.
What is interesting is that there will be NO change at HC, but he knows that results will have to come next year....and with O'Brien at NCSU really finishing strong and Missouri being just good enough to beat you.....we're gonna have our work cut out for us.
After next season, if a change has to be made, a "BIG FISH" will be very interested in the job. This "BIG FISH" couldn't take the job this year if he wanted to because of circumstances, but this is a guy who knows how to run a major program and has won BIG (hint)!
Hate to be cryptic, y'all know I usually just copy and paste, but I don't want to violate the trust of this person.
The news did put a little pep in my step this morning though.

fyp.
