Jeff Driskel says Tennessee is the worst place to play because of all the fans and noise.

I haven't heard Neyland like that since the '09 UGA game, when we curb stomped the Dawgs.

If Driskell thought that was loud, he should hear it when we actually BEAT our rivals.

That said...I think we're going to hear Neyland like that MUCH more often this season, too much excitement around the program for it not to be.

Was at that game. It was great!

I was at that game with my son, his first game at Neyland. A great introduction to the tradition.

Schools are going to start using the "look at their depth chart" recruiting tactic against us. It's been too long.

Still have some positions where they can't say that. DLine, RB, and maybe even secondary still need solid bodies. I agree that Saban has made it work.

Butch Jones considering a preseason practice at Neyland Stadium open to public via @bfquinn Butch Jones wants a preseason practice open to public » GoVolsXtra #rotaryscoop

If CBJ were running for President he would be the lead candidate. This dude is sucking them in like the white Obama. (ok before you guys go off I don't mean he is Obama. I am not pro-Obama. I mean strategically) You may now ridicule. Me first: racist IMO.

Matt Stinchcomb, former UGA lineman and NCAA analyst, just said on 104.5 that there is nothing Butch Jones could have done better to start off his tenure. Roughly said he has a ways to go to turn it around, but so far has been almost perfect.

Anyone else concerned we lose a couple of our commits after what will inevitably be a rough season ahead?

Bryant, McDowell, and Powell are the only ones I could see us having even a chance at losing.

The rest of this class is very tight and are orange at their core. I would be more worried about a rough season hurting our chances with guys we will be recruiting into the season like Hendrix and others.

With any other recruiting class I would worry, but this recruiting class is very close, knows the program is down and wants to bring us back to greatness. We also have a man named Butch.

The pitch to recruits is "brick by brick". They understand that it is going to be rough this year, but they will be the start of laying a new wall of success upon our historical foundation.

Agreed. Gotta be real with 'em...

"Expect some bumps in the road this year but you're the key to our future."

I expect most of the current commits to stick. JMO

@Josh_Ward: RT @BFeldmanCBS: Jadeveon Clowney on Tennessee OT Tiny Richardson. "He is the best at holding and getting away with it."

Sounds like excuses to me.
