Where is Ainge this morning? Nothing against Steven Pearl...but he's the least compelling radio personality possible to entertain during the morning drive time. I need Ainge and J Bay!

Vacation...remember he "got sick" and cut out early Thursday...Friday started his vacation...Pearl will be be fine when he learns the octave method of broadcasting

Ah that's right. I couldn't remember when his vacation was, but he's been out a lot lately

From @SugarShiv: Who is in your top 5 for the Heisman for this season?

My top five entering this season: Johnny Manziel, Jadeveon Clowney, Tajh Boyd, Braxton Miller and AJ McCarron. After that, I'd have Marqise Lee and Teddy Bridgewater although I wonder if the latter is playing such a weak schedule that it doesn't leave him that much of a shot. Of the darker horse odds guys (25-1 or more) that I'd keep an eye on: UCLA QB Brett Hundley 25-1; Miami QB Stephen Morris, 25-1 and Florida QB Jeff Driskel, 40-1.

Mailbag: Talking Sumlin's future, recruiting buzz at Tennessee, UK - CBSSports.com

Feldman gives some lip service to Driskell as a "dark-horse" Heisman candidate.

Granted, that's not a ringing endorsement, but I'm concerned Driskell really has turned a corner this offseason. This isn't the first time I've seen a commentator mention him as a possible breakout star for next year. The few things I read about Florida's spring practices all seemed to be positive about Driskell.

Ugh.

Recruiting is going very well...Per Hubbs update on Lee

This was his first time on campus and his first time being around the coaches and the program. I'm not sure he is thrilled that Tennessee took Powell. So we will see what happens moving forward. It certainly bears watching how comfortable the vols are with him moving forward. Especially considering the caliber of athletes and prospects who continue to show strong interest in the Vols.

apparently Manning is on campus today

He does so much good for people and UT.Maybe my favorite Vol of all time. Most of that feeling I think is based on what hes done off the field.Great great man. With all his money and position in life he still takes time to make huge differences in other peoples lives. His mama and Daddy should write a book. How to raise successfull ,hard wking kids that are still humble, polite, and compassionate towards people less fortunate ,or sick. The Mannings are wonderfull people.
