Hhhaha, well hopefully they understand that I said I'd gladly make it official on RG, just like you said I feel like he is a lock, Vic is his boi, And TK2, Hurd, buddies. I guess I really don't care who, I'm just excited!
Same

Btw to whoever didn't see Vic's grandad's tweet, I really think its Gaulden. Go to the Vic Wharton thread..

They had 2 losses last year, in one Bridgewater got hurt and in the other he completed over 70% of his passes for over 400 yards and 3 touchdowns.

You do know that they lost to Rutgers and Syracuse, right? They should have lost more - they won 6 games by 7 points or less. They were ranked #52 in Total Offense and #50 in Scoring Offense. Their D kept them in games against mediocre Big East talent except for the UF game.

UT #18 in total offense and #22 in scoring offense against SEC type schedule. Bray > Bridgewater and it really isn't close.

Yeah I saw that, makes me think Gaulden too.'since they're all buds. Plus the baby track picture kinda makes it seem that way.
Or it's a Smokescreen. We all know how that goes

Big 24 hours for the #Vols coming up! Looking forward to watching the #LadyVols play tonight! #RiseToTheTop #VFL #FutureVFLs

He's tweeting about more than a basketball game right there.

Yes it is.

I am pretty sure UT has a 4-5 strike policy and your out. Of course that depends on how good of a player you are. Da'Rick Rogers, 4-5 strikes. A kid sitting at 4th string and his 1st offense, I doubt he makes bail before he is cut loose. I would like to see alot tougher punishments for players who break the law.

If first offence you are out, we would not have a football team.:)

We are fully aware of all the twitter buzz and do believe that there very well might be news this evening. There are alot of guys who are loving on the Vols right now. I don't want to ruin anyone's moment so we will sit back and see if this prospect does choose to do something tonight.

Commitment coming. Could be in 13 minutes. It could be tonight. Possibly by the end of the week, or maybe early next month. No later than next Feb. Just trust that, it's coming.

SEC Recruiting: What out-of-state areas are most important?

Tennessee

South Florida. The Vols are in a tough spot with regards to recruiting. The state of Tennessee does not produce a large amount of talent on an annual basis and much of that is in Memphis, which is closer to several other SEC programs. The 2014 cycle, which features five-star Vols running back commit Jalen Hurd and four-star Vols commit Todd Kelly, is one of the better cycles on record in the state in some time as far as top-end talent and Tennessee is taking care of business there. Going out-of-state and even national like Tennessee used to do when it was winning championships is a tough sell with the rise of programs like South Carolina and Ole Miss and also Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Florida and a host of other programs recruiting at a high level. So the question becomes where does Tennessee go to sign enough talent? Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties in south Florida are a great place to do that. Just ask Arkansas and any other program (Rutgers, Louisville, West Virginia) that has made it a priority.

If Tennessee can make in-roads there, it can get enough players, particularly at the skill positions (i.e. speed) to contend and get back to being able to recruit regionally and nationally at a high level. A strong case also could be made for Atlanta. Even some of the high-end three star prospects and four-star prospects the Vols have been in on there have elected to head elsewhere in recent cycles and there is loads of competition for top Atlanta prospects (as as been documented here), so that may have to wait. Having a great cycle in-state for 2014 is the first major step, though, toward Butch Jones and staff upgrading a roster that has depleted over time.

I disagree here. South Florida is important, but at best we'll only get 5-6 a year there.

1. Atlanta
2. Coastal States (Virginia, North & South Carolina)
3. Florida

in addition to everything else being said about GA, S Fla and the obvious ones... South Carolina used to be a big time part of the Fulmer's recruiting plan

SC and Va are both underrated
