Nothing new. There's always someone complaining the crowd is terrible because they can't hear them screaming on their big screen. Plus the fans aren't all standing. They can clearly see that because it's in high def and it shows what lazy, terrible fans they are.
Oh i Know. Very proud of the team. I was just explaining that this last week has been hard on Vol fans because we were forced to face the fact that it will be at least 300 more days before we get a chance to FINALLY beat one of the big three. It even feels WORSE now that we see how the wheels came off from Florida AFTER we played them. Feelings are not based on logic and it is ok to grieve the fact that we still didn’t get over an important hump this season while simultaneously celebrating a very good season. That is all I was trying to sayBut when you think about it, 4 out of five losses came to top twenty teams( 3 to eventual top10, Bama , UGA and Ole Miss). The only embarrassing loss was to UFeek
. Dan Mullen.......

Fans have grown weary of these buy games, many of which Tennessee has managed to lose over the past decade, fans show up for games against good competition and conference games, but directional schools and second tier teams are best watched on television, I'd like too see Tennessee schedule buy games with in state schools to keep the dollars in state and more home and homes with the likes of Pitt, Florida State, SMU, Arizona State and a mid tier Big 10 team, for recruiting purposes and to offer the fans game day experiences in many different environments beyond the massive football cathedrals of the SEC.

Making that a night game in late November was beyond dumbThat is true, but it's also true that I'm not driving 2 hours each way to watch that game starting at 7:30 and getting home at 2 in the morning. Show me them playing an SEC or worthy OOC team in that spot and I'm in. I came to the Ole Miss game, and happily did so. There's just no point investing a full day to watch a jabroni team get manhandled.
And fair or not, there is a letdown in knowing that we have went another season without beating any of the big three
Oh definitely ready to give Coach more time. Losing to Georgia just gave me a case of the sads. Even though I knew we were almost certain to lose, most Vol fans always keep that little spark of hope before kickoffThis, unfortunately is reality. It’s nice to be going bowling and to beat the teams we’re used to beating routinely when we were a consistently good football team ranked annually. Yet, as you mentioned, there is a letdown without beating any of the big 3. It’s been half a decade since we beat FL & Ga in the same season (2016).
I know we’re all tired of hearing it but we have to give CJH time. He’s off to a better start in his first year than the last 3 TN head coaches to try and he walked into an incredibly difficult situation.
Go VOLS!!!
Here’s to beating Vandy & winning our bowl game to finish 8-5!
