OMG! Are you gonna get ravaged!

The days of filling Neyland are over unless we end up in a dogfight to win the SEC East. And we ain't gonna be there anytime soon.

If we keep playing with this effort for a few years Neyland will be full again. People have been burned so much that some are scared to emotionally invest again. If we keep on this trajectory things will change. It was deafening for the Ole Miss game, we got to keep the faith and stand by Tennessee

Don’t forget the 2/3 night stay minimum. Then it’s gas, food, fighting traffic and people, taking off work, leaving family and pets, the list goes on. Sorry but 99% of reasonable people aren’t jumping through a bunch of hoops to come to Knoxville to watch the Vols play a Sun Belt team

Hotel prices are a real problem. UT ought to do something. It’s keeping people away that would typically be able to travel

Oversized arenas for cosmetic appeal with wish fantasies from the 90's. Heightened video coverage you cannot get from a seat. blah yada ad infinitum. What's the answer? Huge new Jumbotron, won't make a difference. Pissing away millions to look fancy while fans are not so fanatic about sitting in a 11.5 inch wide seat and rubbing shoulders with a potential COVID carrier.

Times change. We need to grow up and realize this and quit spending money to impress 17 yo recruits and not much of anyone else.

I live in Florida and come up for 1-2 games a year. Last weeks Georgia game cost me $2000 for chalet, food and game tickets and gas. Can’t do that 8 times a year. But always cheering in front of TV

Bought a new UT blanket that is super warm to go along with all the other cold weather gear I’ve picked up over the years. My season tickets are in the upper deck and stayed for the whole game. My wife thought I was crazy for going due to cold but I’ve been crazy for most of my 70 years. Agree about the hotel prices. I live in Nashville and feared I couldn’t make the drive back after a late game so I found a low cost hotel 40 miles away. The same hotel that I stayed for baseball games in west Knoxville at the end of last year is now more than twice the cost it was in May/June.

That is true, but it's also true that I'm not driving 2 hours each way to watch that game starting at 7:30 and getting home at 2 in the morning. Show me them playing an SEC or worthy OOC team in that spot and I'm in. I came to the Ole Miss game,and happily did so. There's just no point investing a full day to watch a jabroni team get manhandled.

Nothing new. There's always someone complaining the crowd is terrible because they can't hear them screaming on their big screen. Plus the fans aren't all standing. They can clearly see that because it's in high def and it shows what lazy, terrible fans they are.
