I am trying so hard to support our football program and CPF.....the game changing play was Ainge/Foster exchange!! Coaches decision: Tape up the finger and lets play at 75%!! If Ainge can NOT hand the ball of with the proper hand on a turn....then lets let him heal!!
One thing I don't think our coaches are teaching is the 'killer instinct'....we were within 7 against CAL, we were within 8 against Florida....we don't play with intensity and the attitude that this is our game, we are taking over!! Urban Meyer taught his kids the 'killer instinct' during todays game......got us down and kicked us!! We need that back!!
I don't know if firing CPF is the answer right now but if he canNOT instill the 'killer instinct' or 'fire' or 'desire' in his teams like he did in the 90's then I am saying he needs to go!!
I am still a Vol, I am still supporting our football program.....can the administration/athletic dept. give CPF certain goals to be reached or demands and if they are not met he is gone?? I know if he is fired we have to still pay him the 2.1 million.....for the first time since CPF took over the program from Johnny Majors I feel like he has lost control of his team!! heehee I said Johnny Majors....history repeating itself??
Erik Ainge playing hurt is a warrior.....but is his heroism costing his team??
Arian Foster played well today......people on here are giving him a hard time.....he doesn't deserve it!!
ERIC BERRY.......He has the killer instinct, he hasnt been here long enough to learn any different!! CPF needs to take his team in a meeting and say "I, along with the other coaches and you need to look at this young man and model ourself buy #14......he plays MEAN, he has the 'killer intinct' and he has heart!!
I know Phil Fulmer wants to win as bad as anyone at the University of Tennessee.....I believe that.....people change, football changes....either he updates his program or I am on the Fire Fulmer bandwagon as of Sat, Sept 15th 2007!!
To all the people I criticized for raising hell about Fulmer.....I sincerely apologize!! You have an argument now....This "work like heck" "we need to blah blah blah".....reminds me of the "aww shucks" kinda guy Bobby Bowden is......once again guys on VolNation, you guys have seen this coming and I was complacent....
Phil Fulmer is living off the past.......all the success of the past.......Phil, get in the NOW!!
Tommorrow is a new day.........Whether it's Phil Fulmer at the helm or someone else I can't wait for the day that Tennessee puts fear in the heart of others again.....PLAY MEAN, KILLER INSTINCT AND KICK THEM WHILE THEIR DOWN!!
