That was a very nerve racking blowout! Excited for next week. Yeah Oregon on paper should beat us but that is why we play the game. If by chance we do pull the upset it will be our biggest win in years.

On another note I was in Hooters downtown Atlanta today rocking my Tennessee gear and some Georgia State fans were talking about how they(GSU) were going to beat us. I just laughed and told them that was impossible since we are both playing home games and walked away. They looked shocked and confused. Then when I left they yelled go State.

Just got back a bit ago from the game with my son. we had a great time. Just caught up on the thread from the game. Great reading.

Here's what I liked about the game. The defense was very aggressive and kept attacking. Even after they gave up big plays, they didn't drop their heads like last year. 7 TOs is huge.

Many of the people I was sitting with we're also worried about the lackluster 1st half offense. Worley seemed unsettled and they never got in a good rhythm. He did better the second half.

I was very glad to see the changes after halftime and the two opening drives. Again, very unlike last year. Loved the final drive when they just gave to Summerhill and Hill.

Ver impressed with the coaching and the resiliency this team showed. WKy had some momentum heading into halftime and Butch and the team made some great adjustments.

Still plenty of weaknesses, several big plays and getting gashed by throws underneath, but it was fun watching the team handle some adversity this game and overcome it. The freshman receivers showed some talent today. That catch by North laying on the ground was impressive.

And everyone thinks AJ will go pro after this year. He went around numerous blocks. That will really hurt us starting next week, when guys like Thomas and Mariota are flying through those holes. Not complaining about a win, though. Hope our defense can be more disruptive up front next week, and hope we can create a few TOs.

Watched the UT game and the thing I took away is that we played all 4 quarters. The offense was not much in the first half but they just kept pounding and adjusting and they came on in the second half. The defense gave up some plays but they made more than they gave up. All in all it was good. Now we get ready for Oregon. LV? What's that final gonna look like?

Just found this article about the Vandy player issue.

Disturbing Allegations Emerge In Vanderbilt Rape Case

I have no idea if this is a site that is trustworthy so read it for what it is.
An additional note about this is that I talked to a person this week that knows a woman connected with Vandy that claims that the victim had been a "girlfriend" of Vandenburg. If the video claim is true it may have been done for spite against the victim. The comments about Franklin could be his undoing if they are accurate.

College football has ebbs and flows, it will flow back our way again. We have very few yards in large part because our O has either not had to touch the field or got the ball in the red zone. We will be ok guys
