Encouraging that Tom Smith is possibly emerging as a viable 3rd option. It takes some guys longer than others. Hopefully he's maturing and its starting to click.

Videos: Vols' practice on Sunday - Knoxville, TN | GoVolsXtra

I noticed at the 1:00 mark on this video Peterman is acting really funny with his arm. Last week he had a day to "rest his arm", wtf? Is his arm hurt? Serious question. I'll pull my pitchers in a split second for favoring their arm the way he is in the video.

Perhaps I'm tripping.

He was doing something funny with his arm; however, that does not negate the fact that you may be trippin'.

Other than the fact that Dooley either didn't put in to practice or didn't publicize arm rest days, he also had Bray, who has surreal arm talent that was virtually tireless. None of these current QBs have Bray's arm (few do), and thus need rest days to rest their arms, especially amidst a hot QB battle. After getting first team reps last week, Ferguson has gotten significantly less arm reps to rest his arm.

I see where you are coming from on Peterman's arm. He is getting pushed hard by Riley's consistent performances, and it looks like he is pushing himself hard to keep his spot. My fear is that he is on the verge of blowing that arm out. He's very lucky he has almost a week to rest his arm. Next week will be very telling in this QB battle depending on who comes back the strongest from the break.

no hes not committed yet, but hes a Bama legacy. no way he doesnt end up there

although he did just say we have the biggest and best fans on twitter

and just told Todd Kelly to text him

Would be stoked, but that's a long shot.

And I mean loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong shot.

Where's this from?

Manning to Moss would've made everybody's ass quit.

He's an analyst on the new Fox Sports 1 and they had an interview with Peyton and he was talking about how he hosted Moss on his official visit but was disappointed we didn't get him. And the above quote is what Moss said about it when asked.

it would be unfair. But didn't everyone back off Moss because of an off field issue and thats why he went to Marshall.

Partially true.

He was a problem child in highschool with issues, then went to Florida State, and promptly got kicked off the team, at which point, he went to Marshall.

In April 1996, Randy Moss smoked a joint just prior to turning himself into jail. He was scheduled to finish the remainder of his 30-day sentence for misdemeanor battery while in high school. During his first week in jail, Moss was given a drug test that came back positive. He was placed in solitary confinement for a week and had 60 days attached to his 27-day sentence. Bobby Bowden revoked his scholarship and Moss was dismissed from Florida State University for the failed drug test.[6]

That's only part of it. He was originally a ND commit. He and his teammate Bobby Howard who went on to ND and the Chicago Bears. After getting into the fight he was dropped by ND. The rest of your post is accurate. I played against this cat. He was pretty damn good. His HS team had 2 NFL players (he and Howard), and an NBA player (Jason Williams). He was also better at hoops than football.

I still think if Manning wasn't the Heisman winner it should have been Moss.

It sure seems like the praises for woody Quinn have stopped since the pads came on.

Have I missed any positive reports on him lately??

Is he listed as 2nd on the depth chart?
