Pretty sure Steven Jackson was good before Sly Croom got there.

If they coaching staff starts going down in flames, they will probably clean house..

Jamal Lewis is retiring and he definitely knows all the drug dealers in atlanta maybe we could get him and he could recruit the atlanta area for us. LOL

I saw Jim chaney in St Louis yesterday. Said he was visiting a committment in Illinois. Maybe he made another stop along the way?

Um, I think the point of thatswassup's post was to a) point out that Chaney was in St. Louis (which isn't part of Illinois btw) and b) add to the current discussion about Croom since he coaches for (wait for it....) St Louis!

You say that as if Steven Jackson and the Rams are different things. What are the Rams, if not SJax?

Yea... unfortunately, SJax was born an NFL RB. The guy's a beast.

Sly... has other valid entries on his resume though.

Martz hasn't coached the Rams since '05.

Sly Croom may not have been a good HC at Miss State (who has?) but he is a fine and decent man. I would be happy for my son to play for him and he would be a great assistant coach and good influence on these young men.

I saw him at my house eating supper in UT apparel with real estate brochure and calling Bryce explaining how he's gonna improve his running style... jus saying :D

John Gruden is coming in as Wide Receiver Coach. Bill Cowher however, will be a Graduate Assistant. You are correct on Croom. He will be the new runningback coach.

If you want to know who the new hostesses are...

Actually, East St. Louis is in Illinois, but I highly doubt that is where he was spotted.

The difference between E. STL and STL is only about a quarter mile bridge.

Okay, if you want to visit a recruit in western Illinois, the St. Louis airport is the closest place to fly. East St. Louis, IL is just across the bridge from St. Louis, MO. Yes it is about a quarter mile (I have walked across the Mississippi River on the Eades Bridge) in physical distance, but the two cities are worlds apart!

I have a world of respect for Coach Croom, but not sure that at his age he has the get up and go to be on the recruiting trail as much as CLK would want. There aren't that many Montes out there!
