Heard him say on a Mississippi radio station that he was suprised Tennessee was copying his offense. :eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol:

We have ran this offense for years (sometimes badly) and he has never had one.

Coaches say the strangest things.

It seems like Croom is awfully cocky and sure of himself this week. "They better put 9 in the box cause we're going to run all over them" and now this.

It's a sad day in Tennessee football when Miss State is popping off at us. Nobody respects us.

"They didn't want to tackle me!!!..."

Not even Georgia, I bet.

Been a boring week, hasn't it? Nothing to rag on the team or coaches about last week's game. No 6 month old threads to dig up to point out incorrect predictions about the Georgia game. But hey, it's getting close to another game. Time to crank it up a notch, eh TVA?

Fulmer is on standby...especially after last weekend. If he blows this chance to go to ATL... :ermm:

Very true, I can't remember another time when Miss St. was talking trash. Maybe in '98 right before the SECCG? What seems especially odd here is I haven't seen anything about his players talking trash, just him.

he must have seen that play where Ainge tripped coming out from center and fell down...that's why he thought we were copying his offense.

If he can get the staff and roster to get their mind on something else other than preparation and execution, then he's already struck a solid blow.

Desperation causes men to do and say funny things.

Especially with Coaches. Coaches are always careful not to build fans expectations too high, except when their job situation is getting desperate. In that case they will say anything to pacify the natives and keep their job for another week. Croom is in that situation now.

On that same note, I'm starting to get worried about our buddy Vol423. Still no posts since the Georgia/Tennessee game. I hope the dude is OK.

Don't you remember his bball predictions last year (maybe 2 years ago). He guaranteed a couple UT losses then and was gone for a while.

Are you saying that if he's emphatically wrong about something, he doesn't come around the board until he gets one right again?

I don't believe that for a second!
