Crompton to Start vs Vandy

I guess Fulmer wants to hold most of the records at UT.

Only coach to go undefeated and the 1st to lose 8 games in a season!

I almost threw up when I heard this. Too bad the basketball team doesn't play on Sat. I bet there would be more people going to it than the football game.

P.S. I would bet that Fulmer runs over to R.Cobb after the UK game and apologizes for missing out on him.

He isn't the only coach to go undefeated is he? I thought Neyland did. As far as starting Crompton, I do not understand this at all. He led us to 7 points against wyoming. B.J. will have to play for us to beat vandy.

He is not the only coach to go undefeated just the only one to go 13-0. Next NC (if it happens) will be 14-0 so CPF record at 13-0 will go away and be forgotten. But 9 loses will not go away.

Between that and the lack of playing time for Brandon Warren maybe he just dislikes Alcoa.

Reminds me of '05, CPF and R. Sanders just about destoyed Eric Ange pulling this crap. BJ is better left on the bench these last two games and let the new coach come in and decide. No use busting ruining him like they are with Nick, when he was pulled during the SC game that was just proof CPF was chomping at the bit for any reason to get JC back in.

Maybe it is Crompton who is "courting" one of his daughters....he has one son in law that played for him....As I have said before the news people, the camera people, the people who have seats on the field level need to be prepared to receive a pass...The boy just cannot play. Has he been evaluated for learning disabilities which could distort his perception of the field...Maybe glasses would help....Lessons in color to be sure he knows the receivers on his team from the defense on the other...My oh my Phillip has taken us to this.....I know Majors is laughing every day....

I think this is proof again that CPF doesn't use the players that are the most likely to help win the game, but plays the ones he somehow feels the most loyalty to.

This could the why the ticket office has decided to run a promo for the Vandy game. All fans with tickets in the first 10 rows will recieve a free replica UT helmet. They will also be encouraged to wear the helmet anytime UT's offense has the ball.

A writer for the Chattanooga Times Free Press wrote recently that Coleman's picture may be appearing on milk cartons soon.

Fulmer can not figure it out, starting Crompton as long as he did, lead to his dismissal. Wonder what the Crompton family is giving Fulmer on Phillip Fulmer Appreciation Day?

So is the game plan now play to lose. With Jon A.K.A Deer in heads lights at QB there is not a chance we are going to win. I guess we are playing not to win instead of ol' fulmer ball of playing not to lose
