Well Im not giving up. It just proves that JC is no different than last year.

Ill wait until after the FL game to start my campaign...

If he shows some leadership in that game Ill be impressed.
there will be no leadership in the uf game from anyone with the exception of EB.

Kiffin is not going to start Stephens against the #1 team in the country on the road. We are going to get beat and likely bad. If he starts Stephens and it is bad, then we shatter both QB's confidence. It's best to start Crompton against Florida and then start Stephens against Ohio.

If Kiffin says it's so, then it's so. I belive. It's so great to be a Tennessee Vol. Now lets give them gators hell.

Okay, here's the deal. Let's start NS, tell him to throw the ball away under pressure or great coverage, Ainge did it religiously without a sniff of a running game. If we have to punt, let's punt! I'm loving our defense right now. It's for real. Tebow will get sacked for a few. Just don't give the GDmn game away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate that idea too. It means NS isn't strong enough to put up with being an SEC qb either. Why replace one headcase with another? Just teach Lamaison to hand off and start getting Bray's room in Gibbs ready

 are you saying you'd bench the other 21 players?

No my point is your QB is supposed to lead your offense....or at least show some leadership skills.

The other 21 players didnt lose that game on Saturday....JC lost that game.

Weren't a few of those INT's tipped?
I agree that he isn't a leader. But i could care less if he is or not.

Hard to imagine, but Lane has to figure out a way to scale back the QBs responsibility at this point.

I personally think that he gave JC enough plays saturday to hang himself. I think that CLK has more confidence in JC right now than JC does. I feel bad for him, he has not had hardly any success at all in his time here.

If it is possible, he has to take the game out of JC (or NS) hands even more. On Saturday, 3 runs and a punt was a good possesion.

if JC is CLK's starter then he is his starter but when JC starts to implode there should be a point that NS comes in for a series or two for the staff to coach JC up before he melts down. Could tell on TV but I didn't see again coaches talking to him....after one of the INT they showed JC just sitting there with his head down...no receivers-no coaches-wth

why don't all you fellows, and ladies, stop and think for a min.if kiffin pulls jc,then he is telling all future qb's that he is not the man to coach them up and have them ready for the nfl.pulling jc would like be nailing his coffen shut.

You can coach'em up from the sidelines to....having a starter sit a series before he implodes just makes sense plus it gets the backup some experience. QBs get hurt all the time could happen to JC & with our OL that's very possible.

I think he had 2 tips go for INTs... and then the other 3 were straight shots to the DBs...
including a 4th that was dropped by a DB in our endzone...

that's my memory anyway..

No sense in ruining Stevens in Gainsville. Let Crompton start and either he sinks or swims, but don't risk damage to Stevens confidence. If it blows up on Crompton then start Nick against Ohio and let him get his season started like JC, with a big win.

Crompton will start and play the whole game. Let's hope for the best because it could be his last time.

ur right he will, it wouldn't be right for stephens to get thrown out in that situation anyway. I believe after the florida game stephens will get the start, Crompton may be better in practice but stephens wouldnt make the same mistakes and bad decisions in a game that he does. I believe stephens gives us a better opportunity to win in close games and under pressure. Maybe crompton surprises us all Saturday, hope so but seriously dought it
