Hubbs posted over there that Jon has not limped, or even had extra wrapping on it. Also, if there was ANY reason to think he was hurt, they would not be practicing him.

I'm not on campus but he has no boot. Did tweak ankle a little Saturday but it is not in boot.

It was a mix up from a poster of Austin Johnson and JC.

It's all good.

We are doomed, doomed I tell you!

In all seriousness, if anyone is a member, please let us know more of the details. It is getting awfully close to the season for injuries to be occurring but football is football, it happens.

He was held out of practice today and supposedly is wearing a walking boot. Again...they said it was minor so let's hope that's not just coach-speak.

The only difference is Crompton doesn't lift his ankle when he has a spot of tea.

READ: Crompton is tougher and more confident than Ainge.
Agreed. I liked having crompton behind ainge last year because i thought we had a capable backup. I'am not sure about this year's backup. Hopefully crompton is as tough as nails. We might need him to be.

per volquest

...he sprained it on Firday
...played all snaps on Saturday
...has been seen in a boot around campus
...did walkthrough on monday
...sat out today
...fulmer said it was a day to work the second team, and JC is "fine."

We would be wise to get BJ and Nick some PT early this year, just in case. I doubt Crompton's feelings would be hurt if they got some game reps. He doesn't have any career passing records to worry about, either.

If were ahead comfortably against ucla or uab that would be the time. It would be a bonus to get them some time in the opener. Not sure if that will happen or not.

Once you get to playing sprains begin to feel better. It's when you aren't moving it when it's the problem.

Heart skips a beat every time I see the word injury and QB in the same sentence. This should be a non issue though.
