Any chance? Statement win for the program, career numbers? Unless someone comes up big tonight I think he might actually win it....

it could happen, but if tebow has a semi decent game they will give it to him

Crompton had more yards and TD's than Mallet, and the same # of INT's. He deserves it unless someone on UF or LSU goes off tonight.

Alshon Jeffery had 3 td's and 138 yards. I could see him possibly getting it over Crompton.

I wish he would. He certainly deserves it.

But with the pattern that his life appears to be on... He will get beat out and once again be faced with the realization his best wasn't good enough.

hey that is saying something coming from those clowns. I would be willing to bet that the doucher mark may didnt give it to him tho.
When I saw highlights of our game on ESPN, Mark May had a smug look on his face when they came back to he and Lou but they didn't talk about him

If Crompton can just keep his head up and play that good the rest of the year we could get an upset down the road, Bama or Ole Miss, but I would say we get Ole Miss before Bama

Mallet done it against a much better opponent. Crompton was nearly flawless today though.

He's got my vote!
:fireworks:

He still stared down his primary receiver a couple times, and had a little too much mustard on at least one short throw, but overall, he put the ball where it needed to be, and the long throw to GJ was pretty much on the money...

Here's hoping it was genuine improvement and not a flash in the pan. :whistling:

The receivers were WIDE OPEN most of the day off the playaction bootleg, and Crompton did what a decent QB should do--get the ball to them. I'm not going to organize a parade for our passing-game players (qb and wrs)--but it was great to see that everybody knew what to do for a change! Kiffin called a great game...

I don't even think Ole Miss will be an upset...I honestly don't think they are that good

Tim TiVo will have to settle for conference Player of the Week honors just for simply stepping on the field despite the flu, sinus infection, strep throat, and concussions since the Nobel Peace Prize is already spoken for.

Wow. Crompton looked like an SEC qb today. Where the heck has this kind of performance been for the last 2 years. He looks MUCH better on the run and rolling out of the pocket.

PLEASE keep it up Crompton!!!

Hope he does get it so it will lift his confidence. What we saw today at the game must be what the coaches saw in practice.
