Crompton is about as good as C.J Leak was... but yes he is awful please bench him.. I would rather go 6-6 and build 4 the future with a soph. or fresh. instead of 6-6 with this guy... I mean a descent tennessee team (last year) would have beat this auburn team by 20+

the pass to jones in the first half was very bad. The other receiver ( not sure who ) turned into the middle of the field only to be left alone with no ball coming his way. I know I could, no i will not say it. Any other QB would have worked enough to win the freakin game.

Crompton completed 8 passes all day and did not connect with any receiver more than once in the game. I'm sure Stephens or Coleman could run this "offense" if you can call it.

Maybe Fulmer is letting Crompton stay in to be the fall guy. He will be the excuse of why we had a bad season.


By the way I am just kidding, kind of.

A decent team would have beat today's AU tem by 35. Shuler would have run for three touchdowns and passed for two. Jim Bob Cooter would have thrown for 5 touchdowns.

we need to dump Crompton no matter happens with the coaching staff we need to have a QB that can play and JC doesn't have it. I would much rather have a QB that can make a few pass here and there while learning to play in the SEC than what I saw today. I don't think JC could hit a receiver if there was a million dollars riding on the reception.

crompton don't have an idea what it means to a Q.B. for the big orange. Did anyone notice Peyton on the sideline trying to help. Guess he can see the writing on the wall.To bad Hamilton and Fulmer can't. What will they think if Neyland is empty next week!!!!!!!!!!

tHIS SUCKS cROMPTON JUST SAID IT AGAIN. I WILL HAVE TO GET IN THE FILM ROOM AND SEE WHAT HAPPENED ON THE FUMBLE. HE NEEDS SOME STONES TO AND MAYBE STEP UP AND SAY THAT WAS MY FAULT.

If I was the D I would be furious at Crompton. The only way we would have won this game is if they could have got an interception & ran it for a td. Thats pitiful. I dont even know what to say. Auburn punted 6 out of their 8 drives in the 2nd half & how many of them did we start inside the 50? Crompton was the reason we lost this game. There is no other reason why we lost. You cant blame the D, the running game, the special team, or anything else. Crompton Crompton Crompton. Everything else was good. Did you all see when G. Jones threw it to Lucas Taylor & he missed it? He hasnt had a ball threw to him so long that accurate that he didnt realize what was happening. CROMPTON SUCKS and thats how im ending it. If Phillip thinks he played alright tommorrow then he dont know how a QB should play:bash:

I think we'll hit rock bottom when we get smoked in Athens next month or when we lose to Vandy en route to a 5-7 season.

Matthews was a local and still wasn't put out there when it would have been over his head, best I remember. Big difference.

What kills me is Tuber Boy had no problem rotating QB's and their3rd stringer is what sealed the game. Someone needs to tell Fulmer you can't win many games when your QB is 8 of 19 for 75 yards aand a fumble. This loss is on Fulmer and Crompton and no one else. Just a pathetic performance and coaching as I've ever saw.

Phil has a huge leash with plenty of slack on it for the worst QB i have ever seen. What does this say about B.J and Nick no way there that bad.

Ive been watching Tennessee football since Johnny Majors was coaching and so far this is the absolute worst quarterback I have ever seen. Despite all the times fulmer chews him out on the side line he seems as if his simple little mind just doesnt understand what the heck he is talking about. He just sucks and thats the bottom line. We have some very talented recievers on the field and nobody to throw them the ball. We cant expect Arian Foster or Monterio Hardesty to win all our games on the ground. If Fulmer doesnt bench this idiot qb of ours i fear it may be his last season as coach of the Volunteers
