I can't agree with this...yet. Clawson is the girl you've talked to on the phone but never met. We know a little about him but with the tool(s) he has at the lynchpin position of an offense I don't think we have any idea what he can actually do at OC. I've tried to reserve judgement but Crompton is genuinely THAT bad.

Crompton is completely inept, a retarded monkey could have at least tried to scramble for a few yards. BUT NO, JC decides to chuck it 20 yards out of bounds. Brilliant.

Wake me up when it's basketball season.

FWIW I do not blame this loss on the coaches at all. They can't put on a uni and play IMO the defense played great.

If it it were not for Crompton's ineptitude we would have won this game. Pull him and start over. The season is a was anyway.

Seriously, at this point even if the back-up comes in and throws 6 interceptions the end result wouldn't be different. I was completely wrong about Crompton, and it's one of those things where you wish you had been right. If Crompton wasn't so horrible, we might be 3-1 or 4-0.

I don't buy into the whole "Backups are worse" anymore, because it is IMPOSSIBLE to be worse than Crompton.

I am so disgusted with Crompton, it is pathetic. Cmon CPF do something else, this kid doesnt have it.

HELP WANTED for UT QB position, acquire at University Athletic Dept.

I'm just repeating what everyone else is saying...but at what point does CPF bench the guy. We won't beat GA, AL, SC, or "heck" even Vandy with the way he is playing. We have nothing to lose trying Stephens or my choice Gerald Jones. Jones is to good a playmaker not to get him the ball. We need a change or it is going to be another losing season for us. I can't blame any coach for this...other than not benching the kid.

Since we all know it is going to be a long season for UT. I have to think that maybe it is time to dump Crompton and start building a QB for next year. Crompton Sucks!!!

How many touchdowns has JC cost us directly (giving or taking)? Two last week, one this week. How many has he produced for UT?

It's mind boggling to me that Crompton is playing this poorly. I expected him to struggle a little in the beginning, but this is just sad.

Crompton is horrible. We should have changed him at the half and maybe we would have won. He is THE cause of our horrible offense and if he continues to be qb we will continue to loose!!

crompton is just so terrible, I can't put the blame on the coaches for this game. It was all crompton. If fulmer doesn't start stephens next week, we have absolutely no chance for the rest of the season. It just amazes me at how bad he really is. I can't believe he even got a scholarship.
