well i was about to start a new thread asking the same thing. Is Crompton the worst QB to ever don the orange and white? His performance or lack there of is staggering. I cant believe he is the best we have! Pitiful, just pitiful!

He missed stocker outside on a GJ (incomplete) pass...wide open. Repeated prayers when we needed a first down. Tucking and running, throwing it away...he looks clueless.

I am wondering if we are now the WORST team in Division I football for 3 and out? Before the game we had one other team behind us. Wonder who that is? I just cannot find the adjectives that correctly describe what we are seeing.

He is a disaster that guy should never see another play as long as he lives he needs to take the Heath Shuller approach and get his Real Estate License Because He is F*N Horrible!!!! And If Fulmer Starts him next week someone should walk onto the field and kick him square in the Mouth!!! Crompton cant hit water if he feel out of a canoe! Hell I would rather see the G-Gun all day then watch that flat footed droppy eyed piece of S**Ttake another snap!
We lose every game from now on as long as Crompton is the starter!

I agree.I have let this pathetic offense get to me for the last time. The defense played great and still they have to go home with a loss because of Crompton. They need to do like the linebacker in "Remember the Titans" when he kicked the guy off the team. If their going to lose at least let them pick their QB. It is time for a change.

I can find the adjectives for you.... but i cant post them. But we all are thinking the same thing. how the *&^@ does this happen at UT?

A severed leg,Cut off arm J/K.Crompton has all the Fundamentals to be a good qb he just seems like he is lost out there.

I guess I'm just delirious right now but its almost comical how bad he really is. I was so mad at halftime I could have chewed nails when our fearless leader said JC was playing well - my head nearly spun off my shoulders. By the end of the game I kept wondering what his stats were and then I see this after the game and I laugh - and then cry - and then laugh some more.

I do radio here in Greene County and we don't have the best football teams around here but some are decent. I swear to God every High School QB kid I've seen this year could go out there and do just as well as Crompton did. I say bring on Gerald Jones and if we only pass it 10 times a game - FINE. At least TRY to do something else besides sticking behind this, this, awful QB. If Crompton is the QB for Northern Illinois I think Fulmer has officially lost his mind and definitely deserves the boot. I think he deserves it anyway but to stick by someone so horrendous blows my mind.

So, remind me why I shouldn't booo? No, but seriously, JC is the worst QB in the history of the program. And I don't think Foster needs to EVER get the ball (or an attempt to get him the ball) inside of both 20's. What is it with that guy? This one hurt. Wish we would have been blown out intsead of giving a win to AU.

It was a bad sign in 2006 when he went in against South Carolina after Ainge was hurt and tried to do the Peyton Manning style audible at the line and we had to call a timeout. He hasn't matured at all. It's obvious that everything is in one ear and out the other or we wouldn't have so many horrible broken plays and bad coach reactions. Crompton, meet BENCH.

I wouldn't be doubting that Statement alone if we continue to let Fulmer-Clawson-Crompton run the show. :banghead2:

Yeah, that Clawson couldnt hit anyone today and whats up with him screwing up the handoff? Stupid Clawson! He should be benched!

One of the worst performances and coaching in a game that we should've easily won. Fulmer and Crompton lost this game hands down!
