All I'm saying is that booing has a negative effect on all components. It has a negative effect on the players, it has a negative effect on the recruits. It's all negative. It accomplishes nothing positive. Nothing.

It makes ME feel better. And that, to me, is positive.

Someone needs to teach him how to take a hit. The play were he ran it to the right and ran into the gator defender, standing straight up, and getting knocked backwards onto his butt was hilarious. And then he wants to talk smack... to the wrong player..

According to Jon Crompton the team doesn't care what anyone else thinks. They play "for themselves and their coaches".

That's fine. Just don't start crying when we don't land any quality recruits. Just look in the mirror and say, "thank you LadyinOrange".

I don't think the booing today will deter recruits as much as the final score.

:eek:lol:

I haven't even been to a game this year yet. And as far as quality recruits go, if they can't take the heat when they play like crap, they oughtta just stay the heck outta the kitchen.

Unfortunately they are staying out of our kitchen. They're going to the Florida, Georgia, and Alabama kitchen.

Who gives a crap about booing. We played like crap...bottom line. We already have good commits, lets just hope we get a few more. Maybe not after this week, but if we beat AUB and GA and AL we can be at the top. Lets stay positive, as hard as it is. There is still plenty of football to play. And more opportunities to get back on track against top teams. I don't think any of those schools are as explosive as FL. GO VOLS

With Crompton at QB, I don't even like our chances against Northern Illinois, and certainly not against any of the SEC teams you named.

yes if we get him on the sidelines we will turn a negative into a positive

You're right. Fulmer's not playing the best QB just so he can lose games and piss everyone off.

Fulmer's got a super-secret, highly talented QB waiting on the sidelines. He's just keeping him fresh for the SEC Championship game.

Well, on a positive note, I did finish getting the yard mowed since I didn't care to watch the slaughter. But yeah, sit em down if they can't do any better than what we had today!!

jonathon crompton reminds me of another tennessee qb,thats vince young,ya noticed they look at 1 receivever.not the whole field to see if anyone else is open, vince young and crompton look the same as reading defenses and lookin the field over.

they just go to the play call players to throw to.
